    ALEXANDRIA, VA, November 10, 2016 -- The Alexandria Tutoring Consortium (ATC) is pleased to announce that it recently selected Karen T. White of Alexandria, Virginia to fill its newly established Program Director position. She will provide the day-to-day management and oversight of the program that trains nearly 200 volunteers in a University of Virginia curriculum to help struggling readers in kindergarten and first grade improve their literacy skills.
